Professor Dr. Rodziah binti Atan

 

 

Bio

Prof. Dr. Rodziah binti Atan currently works at Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia. She specializes in the area of Software Engineering, Software process Modelling and Cloud Computing Services. She obtained her PHD in Software Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2005. Lecturing and handling classes to more than 1000 undergraduate students and has had 7 PhD and 8 Masters students graduated under her supervision. She also has published academic books, chapter in books, more than 100 journal publications and conference papers. Her current interest is commercialization of research products, where she has a few collaborative works with industry and other institution of higher learning. She was also appointed as keynote speaker for an international conference, a colloquium, panel assessor in a workshop, subject matter expert, local and international journal and conference reviewer and industrial training head coordinator.   (Email: [email protected])

 

Dr. Mahardhika Pratama

 

Bio

Dr. Mahardhika Pratama received his PhD degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2014. He completed his PhD in 2.5 years with a special approval of the UNSW higher degree committee due to his outstanding PhD research achievement. Dr. Pratama is currently working at the Department of Computer Science and IT, La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia as Lecturer (Assistant Professor). Prior to joining La Trobe University, he was with the Centre of Quantum Computation and Intelligent System, University of Technology, Sydney as a postdoctoral research fellow of Australian Research Council Discovery Project. Dr. Pratama received various competitive research awards in the past 5 years, namely the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award in 2011, the UNSW high impact publication award in 2013 and 2014. Dr. Pratama has published over 30 high-quality papers in journals and conferences, and has been invited to deliver keynote speeches in international conferences. Dr. Pratama is a member of IEEE, IEEE Computational Intelligent Society (CIS) and IEEE System, Man and Cybernetic Society (SMCS), and Indonesian Soft Computing Society (ISC-INA) and severs as a reviewer in some top tier journals such as: IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, Neurocomputing, Soft Computing, and Evolving Systems. His research interests involve machine learning, computational intelligent, evolutionary computation, fuzzy logic, neural network and evolving adaptive systems. (Email: [email protected])

 

 

Dr. Nabeel Younus Khan

 

 

Bio

Dr. Nabeel Khan is working as a research scientist at Volpara Health Technologies, New Zealand. His area of specialization is computer vision, medical imaging and cloud computing. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science (specialization in computer vision), from the University of Otago, New Zealand. His PhD application, "Indoor Positioning System (iPoS)" was among the top 5 Finalists in APPSTAR competition, which got 108 entries from all over New Zealand. He has published scientific papers, posters and submitted a patent during his professional carer. He is also a reviewer of few IEEE journals, such as IEEE Signal Processing society. In his current job, he is actively involved in medical imaging based research, analysis and development. ([email protected])
